• Dynamic Composite Structure : By applying more material from the frame up to four centimeters inside the face, we minimize the difference in hardness between the frame and the face. In this way, when the ball is hit with the outer parts of the blade, we minimize the possible cutting of the fibers that could occur when the rubber sinks.

• HR3 Black EVA : Core with high-density black HR3 rubber with the greatest memory effect. In this way, greater power is achieved both in hitting and in ball output.

Why should you change the safety cord on your padel racket?

The safety cord is a fundamental element in a padel racket. So much so that the regulations require that all rackets incorporate it and its use during the game. Its function is, obviously, to avoid accidents in case the racket slips in our hand and hits another player.

Replacing the cord: a complex and risky operation
The safety cord on paddle tennis rackets is attached to the structure of the racket itself in the interior space of the handle. Replacing it is a complicated operation that involves manipulating the blade, losing the purchase guarantee. To replace it, it is necessary to remove the grip that comes from the factory with the racket until the lower plug is visible, which must also be removed and is attached to the handle of the racket with a system of staples. Removing these staples is a delicate operation that carries the risk of breaking the blade. Once the cord has been replaced, putting the bottom cap back in is also complicated, since having removed the staples, the cap can remain poorly fixed and may move during the game. Why might we be interested in replacing the safety cord?

FOR SECURITY
During the game the safety cord becomes soaked with the player's sweat. Over time, sweat degrades the fibers to the point of breaking them. Another reason for possible breakage is that the inner knot with which the cord is linked to the structure of the blade becomes undone. In any case, if the cord on our racket is broken, we must replace it since the regulations do not allow playing without a system for holding the racket to the wrist.

FOR HYGIENE
As we have pointed out previously, the lace of the racket constantly receives the player's sweat, producing bad odors over time. In the case of paddle tennis rackets shared by more than one person (for example test rackets, rental rackets, etc.), the health risk component must be taken into account. In cases of shared blades, the overgrip of the blade should always be changed and the cord disinfected after each use.
